How to get to Ranong

Many possible options to get to Ranong
 
From Bangkok: 
- by plane with Happy air, direct flights from Bangkok to Ranong, about an hour and a half flight 4 times a week. Plan to arrive at least a day before departure as planes can be late or even cancelled so you need to have enough time to reach Ranong by bus before the boat goes.
We can book it for you!

There are more planes going from Bangkok to Surratani, followed by a short bus ride to Ranong (about 3 hours)
- By train, from Bangkok to Chumpon followed by a 2 hours bus ride to Ranong.
- By direct bus from Bangkok to Ranong (around 9 hours). VIP or 1st class nigh buses leave Bangkok South terminal several times a day, a night bus is the moist convenient leaving around 8pm and reaching Ranong in the early morning. These buses are confortable with toilets inside, inclinable seats, snack and food stops.

From Phuket:
- by bus (around 5 hours)
- by taxi (5000thb)
