Surin Islands

The Surin Islands offer some of Thailand’s most pristine and least crowded dive sites, known for healthy reefs and abundant marine life. Their highlight, Richelieu Rock, is a world-class pinnacle famous for dense fish schools, rich macro life, and frequent whale shark encounters. Overall, Surin delivers a more natural, vibrant, and rewarding diving experience than busier areas.

Richelieu Rock

Richelieu Rock, is always listed in the top 10 dive sites of the world! And you will quickly understand why! It can also be described as a big aquarium with more or less everything …
From seahorses to jack fish and plenty of kinky cuttlefish action.
Richelieu Rock are the best places to see whale sharks so keep your eyes opened!

But Richelieu Rock is also paradise for underwater photographers focusing on macro life; look well in the soft coral and sea fans for a spectacular array of small critters like seahorse, Pipefish, Ghost Pipefish, Harlequin Shrimp, Frog fish and Nudibranch of all shapes and colours.

Koh Bon / Koh Tachai

- At Koh Bon we will make 2 dives, one at the ridge and one at Koh Bon Pinnacle. Koh Bon is a well known cleaning site for Manta Rays and the site most frequented by them in Thailand. There is also a very good chance to spot a Zebra Shark on the pinnacle.

You will love the view from the boat on some idyllic islands with lush green forest surrounded by white sand beaches, the visibility is usually very nice on Similan islands and we hope to spot leopard sharks, blue spotted stingray, school of snappers and fusiliers, emperor fish, clown trigger fish and more tropical colorful fish as well as some Moray eels, turtles and mantis shrimps living in the rocky areas.  Whale sharks are also commonly spotted there so keep an eye behind your head for a gentle giant passing above!

- At Koh Tachai Pinnacle where we usually have a very fishy dive: barracudas, trevalis, sweetlips, batfish a very nice dive spot. Koh Tachai... Good chances there to spot whale shark, turtles, Manta, reef sharks, Napoleons...

Similan Islands

Three Trees
Three Trees is a dive site on Similan Island 9. It is a sloping reef down to a flat sand floor. Out in the sand are several rocks and coral bommies with beautiful gorgonian fans and soft corals. Rays, barracudas, trevallies and occasionally sharks can be seen out on these rocks, and the reef is home to turtles.

Elephant Head Rock
One of the most iconic sites in the Similans, Elephant Head Rock is a dramatic granite pinnacle located between islands #7 and #8. The underwater landscape is made of massive boulders forming tunnels, arches and swim-throughs. Currents can be strong, attracting pelagic species such as trevally, barracuda and reef sharks. Depth ranges roughly from 12 to 40 m, making it best suited for experienced divers.

West of Eden
Situated on the west side of island #7, West of Eden combines colorful coral reefs with granite boulders and small swim-throughs. The reef hosts a rich diversity of marine life including ribbon eels, octopus, moray eels, turtles and schooling reef fish. Depth ranges roughly from 5 to 30 m and currents are usually mild to moderate.

Deep Six
Found just north of island #7, Deep Six is a dramatic site featuring large granite boulders that form swim-throughs, pinnacles and steep drop-offs. Currents can bring in pelagic life such as trevally and barracuda. Depth ranges from about 12 to 40 m, making it more suitable for intermediate to advanced divers.
Christmas Point
Located on the northwest side of island #9, Christmas Point features impressive granite formations with large overhangs and swim-throughs. Soft corals and sea fans add color to the rocks, while schooling fish, reef sharks and occasional large pelagics patrol the area. Depth ranges from about 5 to 40 m and currents can be moderate.

Rocky Point

North Point (also known as Rocky Point) located to the northeast of Similan Island 9 is a dive site comprising submerged rocks mixed with fringing reef as you get closer to the island itself, which makes it a great spot for all level of divers. The formations of the rocks create holes and swimthroughs. There is a little pinnacle out in the depths where if you are lucky you can see sharks swimming in the sand channel on your way out there, the deep rocks are covered in gigantic sea fans, and very few divers make it out to see the “North Point Pinnacle”. In the southern area, near the island, are two channels made by boulders standing side-by-side
