Returning to the Mergui Archipelago
One of the pleasures of exploring the Mergui Archipelago by liveaboard is that every trip can bring something new, even when returning to familiar dive sites. Myanmar’s remote reefs are home to an incredible variety of marine life, from turtles and rays to barracuda and fascinating macro creatures.
It’s always great to see and welcome return guests on board. This time, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jean Paul and his happy French buddies, who came two years ago and are now back for another two cruises with us.

As soon as the trip started, we felt at home. We shared stories about the different diving trips we had all done since the last time we met and showed each other our best pictures. We also laughed at the video montage from their last trip — what a fun time!
As good French people, we also love to talk about food, especially when we can enjoy some amazing cheese from the continent. Thanks for the lovely present!

It was very nice to dive once again with our doyenne, Brigitte, who is still following the group, and to find some beautiful creatures underwater.
We had the chance to see some turtles, a ghost pipefish, a beautiful clown triggerfish, a few rays, barracuda, snapper and trevally.
