First Trip of the Season – What an Appetizer!
Diving Thailand’s Surin and Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock
It has been a great start to the season in Thailand! We had a fantastic group of French, Chinese and Italian divers on board. The weather was great, the water was crystal clear and the atmosphere on the boat was explosive… all the conditions came together to make this trip unforgettable!
We explored some of the best dive sites in the Andaman Sea, including the Surin Islands, the Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock.
And what a show underwater!
Marbled rays, white- and blacktip sharks, leopard sharks, turtles, massive Napoleon wrasses, octopuses, mantis shrimps, sea snakes, massive schools of barracudas and trevallies… We couldn’t stop looking everywhere!
The incredible diversity of marine life in the Andaman Sea is one of the reasons we love diving in this part of Thailand. From large pelagic animals to tiny and colourful reef creatures, there is always something to discover.
At the end of each dive, big smiles on everybody’s faces 🙂
