We wanted sharks … we got sharks!
We wanted mantas … we got mantas! What else?

Black Rock and Manta Madness

We spent two days in Black Rock, and it was Manta Madness again! Check this out 😉
These huge oceanic mantas have not been the only highlight of Black Rock! The magic was also on tiny, tiny creatures…
First, a beautiful clown frogfish …
And second … harlequin shrimps!

Shark Madness at the Burma Banks
Little did we know that it was just a starter before the Burma Banks!!! There, it was Shark Madness: blacktip, nurse and grey sharks …
Exploring New Dive Sites at the Burma Banks
The new dive sites we explored were higher than our expectations. Terrific conditions: 40+ metres visibility, crystal-clear water, lots of life, nobody around, not a boat in sight…
And a night dive with nurse sharks swimming just next to us … magical!
Let’s not forget all the other amazing stuff we saw …

Meanwhile, on the boat, there was a lot going on … and especially, an unforgettable barbecue night!

This unforgettable adventure combined some of the most exciting experiences of diving in Myanmar: encounters with oceanic manta rays at Black Rock, shark encounters in the Burma Banks, fascinating macro life such as clown frogfish and harlequin shrimp, spectacular visibility and plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere on board.
From giant mantas and sharks to tiny reef creatures, remote dive sites, unforgettable nights and spectacular sunsets, this was a true Myanmar liveaboard adventure that gave our guests plenty of reasons to come back for more.
