Take the plunge and learn to scuba dive

PADI OPEN WATER COURSE

Picture
Thailand is the world's number 1 destination for diving tourism, which guarantees you the quality of diving training and facilities.

This is the country that annually produces the most PADI certifications in the world, which means that we can offer you the best techniques and up to date training materials.

Learn the basics and get certified as a PADI Open Water diver

The PADI Open Water certification is recognized worldwide and allows you to dive without the supervision of a dive professional (as buddy pair) to up to 18 meters deep.

The Open Water course is in three parts:
1. The Theory: to avoid having too much reading/studying onboard, we'll send you access to a virtual classroom before the trip to complete the theory via PADI e-learning.  This online platform is a bit more interactive than a book, using videos, audio, graphics and reading to help you learn. It will gauge your progress with a few short quizzes, and then offers a review of anything you happen to miss. You will only need to take a quick test onboard to make sure you completed the e-learning and understand everything you learned. Be sure to send us your certificate of completion!
2. Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills: You will need to be in Ranong on the day before departure to complete this part in the pool. Please be at our office at 9am unless arranged otherwise.
3. Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore: 4 of the dives during the cruise will be training dives, where you will reproduce what you have done in the pool and demonstrate to your instructor your understanding of safe diving practices. When these three sections are complete, you are a certified diver and can join the other passengers for some magnificent dives through the cruise!

Price:
15,000 THB (including E-learning access, pool sessions in Ranong on the day before cruise departure, four open water training dives, equipment rental for the pool session and validation of your card).

8000thb (including your book or E-book, 5 adventure dives and validation of your card)
