If you like responsibilities, you are comfortable being a role model and you can’t help helping others while underwater, the Divemaster program is for you!
Doing your Divemaster course with The Smiling Seahorse is a unique opportunity to learn the professional skills in a safe environment, and the guaranty to combine great diving with developing your abilities to look after other divers. How to inspire confidence and trust through your knowledge and role model behavior. A work experience on a liveaboard is also a great asset to find your first job. This course is based on an internship of 3 weeks minimum (if you are a rescue diver already with current EFR). You should join at least 3 liveaboard trips on our boat to give you the experience of a real dive professional. There is a great deal of theory that will make you stand out and be knowledgeable about the whole diving industry. This is a professional course and not a theory only tuition, you will get a lot of tips about teaching and managing dive sites and circumstances that are not in the books! FROM 15,000 THB with ISC or FROM 17000 THB with PADI for students having passed the Advanced and the Rescue Diving rating, a Valid EFR certification (less than 2 years), and 20 logged dives. You need to join a minimum of 3 dive cruises with us which is not included in the price. We need to check your level before we can assess how long/ how expensive your training will be. |

The PADI Open Water certification is recognized worldwide and allows you to dive without the supervision of a dive professional (as buddy pair) to up to 18 meters deep.

Go further and enjoy more diving adventures with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diving course.
You’ll get the chance to experience the most unique and fun diving activities all in 2 days! After course completion, you’ll be capable to dive up to 30 meters (100 ft) and explore more areas on a dive site.

PADI RESCUE DIVER...
Rescue Diver combines Emergency first responder course with diving related rescue technics to spot foreseeable problems and master rescue technics underwater and at the surface.
The main objective of this course is to be able to identify and manage stress for yourself first, then to your dive buddies before it get out of control leading to panic.
Prerequisites: It is necessary to have an EFR certification (or equivalent) to enrol for PADI Rescue Diver course; you can pass the EFR course at the same time or provide a valid certification card (less than 2 years) you can take a CPR/ first aid class with your fire station or hospital back home for example.
Logistic: you'll need a day at the pool before departure.

PADI Specialties enhance your diving skills and allow you to explore facets of scuba diving that interest you the most. Become the diver you want to be and discover what the underwater world has to offer.
The Specialties available on board: 6,000THB each with ISC card or 8,000 THB with PADI card.
- The Deep specialty will take you as deep as 40 meters!
- Enriched Air Nitrox will teach you to dive with mixed gas up to 40% oxygen.
E-learning available! (why should you dive nitrox? explained in this blogpost)
- The Underwater Digital Photographer, will make you a stunning photographer and you will amaze all your friends with awesome pictures! (you need to have your own camera)

- The Night diver, learn the proper procedures for diving in the dark. You will also get to see different creatures only active by night…!
