Burma 6 days

Sawadee Ka!
Welcome on the Smiling Seahorse for our second trip of the season!

Day 2

Tiger tail seahorse at Shark Cave
Wake up! It's time to go diving! Let's start the cruise with an easy dive site to make sure we are all happy and comfortable to blow bubbles. Then we explore ''shark cave'' and its surroundings where we spotted two beautiful seahorses and the first whale shark of the season! (unfortunately no photo this time)

Day 3

Hawkbill turtle at Western Rocky

Change of scenery: we will discover some granite boulder islands, stunning! We spot some rare creatures like blue ribbon eel, bamboo shark, and lots of Maldives sponge snails.
After that it's barbecue and rhum time for a great moment to share!

Day 4

Back to the lime stone islands. We dive around some underwater paradise, full of sea fans, soft corals, school of barracudas in a clear blue water. We cross "Western Rocky" island from south to north thanks to a 50 meters swim through, incredible right?!

Day 5

After a deep dive where we spotted a barramundi, very rare and territorial fish, we go back to "Western Rocky" to explore the cave for those who haven't done it the day before , the "Eagle Rock" and the "Islets", making sure every dive group has its own space.

Day 6

We are getting closer to mainland. We visit the magnificent and famous heart-shape and horse shoe islands, it's time to take some pictures, to kayak to the beach, to jump from the sun deck and to enjoy the few more hours we can spend together the MV Smiling Seahorse.

CONGRATULATIONS to Jeannie and Stuart for completing the Advanced Open Water Course, and to Giovanna and Cesar for entering into the nitrox family!!

Thanks to all of you for this amazing trip, we had a blast and we hope to see you soon on board!!

The Smiling Seahorse team.

Camille Rovillain

Camille's love for travel and diving began in her mid-twenties, taking her across oceans and continents before she finally settled in Thailand. In 2012, she co-founded The Smiling Seahorse, driven by a desire to explore and share some of Southeast Asia’s most remote and unexplored dive destinations.
A proud mother of two, Camille still hops onboard The Smiling Seahorse every month. Passionate about macro life, she delights in guiding fellow enthusiasts on unforgettable dives across the Andaman Sea — from Myanmar’s Mergui Archipelago all the way to Thailand’s Malaysian border.
