Another great trip in Burma, and quite a special one too : we were lucky to spend Christmas Eve on board, with seven divers to share the Christmas joy. And if we obviously did more "gliding through the fish" than "dashing through the snow", we sure were "laughing all the way" and "making spirits bright" ! ;)
Franck, trying out his Christmas gift, took his pictures one step closer to the burmese fauna... With his brand new super macro extension, he gives us to see the most precious details of every creature, and we're loving it ! And since this is Christmas, we'll stick to the red and white theme for this week's pictures :)
And of course, Santa Claus was right on time to deliver his present to us : a superb whale shark came by on Seafan Forest, entertaining the luckiest of us during their safety stop...
Merry Christmas to you all !!
Thank you for a wonderful experience! the staff is great, food excellent and the guides superb. Really enjoyed the week and everything was very well organized. Special thanks to Franck for improving my underwater photographying skills. Highly recommended.
We'd like to continue in expressing our great thanks to the kind, helpful and friendly staff onbard, not forgetting Camille and her great support before the trip even left Ranong.
Quelle belle aventure! Une equipe sympa et complemenataire qui ont fait de ma croisiere un joli moment de reve et de repos. La vie est belle!

Amazing dive trip in Burma and most of all, and amazing crew! The hospitality of the Smiling Seahorse is superb and I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful adventure.
Until next time, cheers!
Amazing, exciting, Fun and very beautiful divetrip with an excellent crew. We will be back!
You guys have such a great thing going on! Best dive trip I have ever been on.
This last trip was a challenging one ! Wind and waves on the surface, but oh so beautiful underwater... and peaceful ! Accompanied by seven lucky divers, we enjoyed superb dives, surrounded by hundreds of fish and looking for the more discreet creatures.
These five days have been filled with crazy cave dives, fish frenzy, colorful corals... all material for beautiful memories !
Some took the time to go further in their education : Kat and Owen are now Deep Divers, and Bryan and Steve Nitrox Divers. Congratulations !!
This trip in Burma has clearly marked the return of the tiny ! We had been waiting for them little creatures since the season started, and this time, they were all here : hide-and-seek-champion ghostpipefish, elusive pineapple fish, carnival dressed harlequin shrimps, camouflage master orang outan crab... Torches in hand, eyes wide open, looking into every crack and hole, the treasure hunt has been a fructuous one !
The big animal lovers were not forgotten, since the huge but peaceful nurse sharks and impressive blotch stingrays were also at the rendez-vous.
To help us in the search, ten curious divers came along, and took the trip on MV Thai Sea all the way to Black Rock. They even agreed to take part in the discovery of new dive spots, and we could spend a full day exploring unknown sites !
Let's not forget to congratulate the brave ones who spent some time bent on their books... alright, sunbathing with a book in hands ;) The award of "Most serious student" goes to Nicole, who did everything from Open Water to Advanced and Nitrox diver, and has now close to 30 logged dives, all in one go ! Meanwhile, Florian was also studying hard, to get his Advanced and Nitrox certifications, and the french team got their heads together to complete their Nitrox Course and enjoy the benefits of enriched air. Congratulations to you all !
