It started great with a Guitar shark on the very first dive. Did you know Guitar fish belong to the ray family (their gills and mouth are under and not forward) but because of their large shark-fins, they are often mistaken for shark or called guitar sharks. They also swim like sharks, using their tail whereas most other rays prefer flapping their pectoral fins as a propeller.
While critically endangered, The Hawksbill Turtles are the most frequently encountered turtles on our cruises, today let's learn about hawk-billed turtle or Eretmochelys imbricata...
