Usually when you see a cobia up there, you look carefully in the blue for a bigger fish. They are known to choose infamous travel companions such as the giant blotched sting rays, mantas rays or whale sharks. This time, they were traveling as a school, more than 30 of them coming close for a good look at us.
Did you know that while they are close to the seahorse family, their female give birth and not the male, as seahorse males do?
