After 9 days trips around the Mergui archipelago and the Burma banks, far away for any civilisation and corona virus preoccupation, we came back to Ranong and had to come to the realisation the season is officially over :(
But we still had a blast on this last trip! Let me show you!
This week was a frog fish week, we spotted a baby giant frogfish around square rock an adult one at Seafan forest, and few other ones at North twin pinnacle and rock head.
We also had the luck to find 2 pairs of harlequim shrimps, tiger tail seahorses, lots of peacock mantis shrimps, tones of nudibranchs and a beautiful juvenile pineapple fish !s.
We also spotted silver tip sharks and gorgeous honeycomb morays over there.
During this trip was also the first night dive of our friend and colleague, Palm, dinghie driver and tanks refiller. "I'm not scared anymore" he told us with a big smile after the dive ! Congratulations to Iris for becoming a Nitrox diver. Thank you all for the great time we spent together during this trip and this season. Unfortunatly it finishes quicker than expected, but we will see you next year, on board of The M.V Smiling Seahorse, for new adventures! The Smiling Seahorse team |
